I have provided evaluation and treatment for individuals who experience difficulties from the combination of psychological symptoms and chronic medical conditions. In particular, I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing both chronic pain (specific or generalized chronic pain, fibromyalgia, migraine headaches) and symptoms of depressive/anxiety-related disorders. I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing chronic medical conditions and personality-related disorders. Often, chronic pain, leads to development or worsening of psychological symptoms. Whether an individual's psychological symptoms existed prior to or developed after his or her chronic medical condition, I offer treatment toward an increase quality of life.

I enjoy treating a full range of anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, specific phobia, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, and generalized anxiety disorder. In addition, I completed my dissertation on the effects of self-esteem on romantic relationships and therefore have a particular interest in treating self-esteem issues, which often underlie anxiety disorders, as well as relationship-related anxiety. I also have significant interest and experience in treating chronic pain and health-related anxiety, as my postdoctoral fellowship was specialized in primary care/behavioral health psychology.

I help adults work through trauma, addiction, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADHD, perfectionism, mood disorders, and impulsive behaviors. I have been researching trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder since 2013 and have been a yoga instructor since 2014. I use my training as a yoga instructor to help clients cultivate mindfulness and meditation skills, which are an essential part of the therapeutic process.
