Announcement icon Choose to meet on Zoom, FaceTime, or Phone Call. My hours are: Tuesday thru Friday, 10am to 11pm. Saturday 10am to 2pm. Sunday 6pm to 10pm.
Teens, adults, couples and families are welcome in this safe & nurturing space. We will review key concepts from psychology & also explore how these same ideas are referenced in physics, music, literature & philosophy. Together in sessions, we intentionally reflect & thoughtfully identify short & long terms goals. While reviewing each of the emotions and the beliefs they carry, we explore patterns of behaviors that seem to emerge. By also leading with authenticity and compassion, emotion regulation & critical thinking skills significantly improve. This empowered approach serves as a catalyst for change, for healing, and for wisdom.
Advocating for clients can be especially purposeful and motivating. We will identify, reflect & determine what may be optimal for overall well-being - now, for future stages, and for crisis management. Some examples: reviewing medication options, pros/cons of leave of absence from school, advocating for accommodations at work, discussing surgery or divorce.
I specialize in Grief, Trauma, Depression, Bipolar & Borderline, OCD, Eating Disorders, Social & Health Anxiety, ADHD, Cultural Challenges, & Parenting. My past work included: U at Buffalo, Assistant Counseling Director, 20-21; Dartmouth College, Geisel Med School, Researcher, 2020; Cornell University, Psychologist, 2016-19; Sheppard Pratt, Post-Doc, 2015-16
