Announcement icon Please note, I am conducting all therapy sessions via FaceTime or Zoom.
Are you wondering why you're still single? Do you find yourself attracted to men or women who are not available? And lacking chemistry with those who are? You seem to be successful in your work-life but not in your love-life? Is this an ongoing issue? If you're answering "yes" to these questions, I may be able to help you. There may be subconscious factors at play here. Your past, your background, and your experiences have informed the development of certain patterns. I help you unpack and understand these patterns and I work actively to help you develop skills to change them.
I have been doing this work for over 15 years. Although I enjoy working with a very wide range of patients and issues, some of my areas of specialties include: relationships (repeated patterns that you want to break), loss (grief and trauma work), and chronic illness (HIV/AIDS, stigma, disclosure, adherence to meds, etc).
I am an integrative therapist, which means that I utilize various theories and techniques depending on the specific needs of the person I'm treating. If you have any questions and/or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please don't hesitate to email or call me. I usually respond pretty quickly.

Dalia Spektor's Groups

Single Driven Women

This group is for single, career-minded women seeking support from other women like them. From a very young age, women are taught that their womanhood is intrinsically tied to getting married and having kids. This can cause distress not only for women who want these things but don't have them, but also for women who don't want these things but can't get away from the pressures of society and/or their own conflicting thoughts that they should want these things. Find strength and take comfort in the presence of other women dealing with similar challenges.

Mending Hearts

Whether you have lost your relationship, your career, or a life-long dream--whatever it is that is causing you so much sadness, this group is designed to help you grieve your loss in the comfort of others who are going through similar circumstances. Grieving is a normal and natural reaction to loss and it facilitates the healing process. I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to open up and start sharing. For over 15 years, I've been helping men and women walk through loss. I can help you too.
