Announcement icon My experience in anxiety management enables me to help people coping with COVID-19 issues. I see couples and individuals on video and phone.
My therapeutic focus is on helping people being challenged by stress, anxiety, traumatic events, loss or grief, relationship issues, sexual difficulties, career problems, addictions and compulsions, and who are seeking to find and develop creativity and meaning in their lives. I work with a diverse range of individuals and couples and have a particular expertise in working with people in transitions. I am trained in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for the treatment of PTSD, anxiety and stress. I understand the many issues in dealing with international and cross-cultural relationships.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My doctoral research was on meaning-making among Holocaust survivors. I am a member of the American Psychological Association's Trauma Psychology Division and formerly served on the Division's Executive Committee.
I am able to find an affinity with almost every person and with any background, and I have a deep understanding of the forces and conflicts that work in each of us. I hold an MBA from the Wharton School and have prior experience working as a specialized management consultant which helps to keep me grounded and practical in my therapy work.
