Announcement icon I provide video or phone sessions during this difficult time. Appointments are available within 24-48 hours.
Anxiety and depression over this worldwide crisis is completely understandable. Teletherapy allows your sessions to be safe in the comfort of your home. On your initial visit, I will spend a generous amount of time with you on your presenting concerns and your goals for therapy. Having 15 years of experience, I can assess the therapy method most likely to be effective for your specific situation. My specialty is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and I find most clients achieve significant progress with this approach. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) is a type of "third wave" CBT and is often incorporated.
When you work with me, together we'll break down your patterns of thinking and behaviors that cause anxiety, depression, and hold you back from enjoying life. You'll develop the skills to feel better and create positive change. Many clients find my style a "very refreshing" change from their former therapy.
In couples therapy, I use a highly structured format that enables couples to communicate in a way they never have before. This new way of communication gets right to the core issues and brings resolution to conflict much faster than traditional therapy. Couples therapy can be done via Teletherapy during this difficult time.

Mitchell S. Levy's Groups

Relationship Therapy Group (RGT)

This group is comprised of men and women to explore relationship issues. Feedback and interaction in the group is particularly useful to understand your characteristic behavior in relationships, and then to understand how to change. Feedback and interaction with the other group members can allow for an "in-vivo" experience and result in a corrective emotional experience.
