Dr. Potts specializes in therapeutic methods for trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship counseling, and substance abuse. In addition to helping treat the community, he also volunteers as a SWAT psychologist for Las Vegas Metro and provides monthly training's for Las Vegas Metro Police Department on Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. He is also trained in both biofeedback and alpha stimulation as adjunctive treatment modalities with cognitive-behavioral therapy.

My clinical practice is integrative in nature. As a social worker, my theoretical orientation is always informed by a social justice and a systems lens. I use a brain-based approach when developing treatment plans with my clients. I primarily use cognitive behavior therapy and motivational interviewing to target and help strengthen the prefrontal cortex. During sessions, I gently challenge clients' cognitive distortions and guide them to actionable and measurable change. I also teach clients to incorporate strategies to target subcortical regions of the brain and address their own trauma or stress-related symptoms.
