I have over 25 years of experience doing psychotherapy. I trained with experts at Johns Hopkins Medical School and UCLA. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing problems in daily living or just dissatisfaction with quality of life, going through transitions as they age, change jobs, being in or out of relationship, going through separation, divorce, even death of a partner, or approaching dating after a loss. I have years of experience dealing with adjustment to chronic disease, including many forms of cancer, AIDS/HIV, being dialysis dependent, multiple surgeries, or facing and living with organ transplant.

For better or worse our early relationships strongly impact our emotional experiences as adults, often in ways we do not understand. As a Mental Health Practitioner for more than 30 years now I have worked with a wide range of clients effecitvely to include clients who present with both personality, mood and chronic illness challenges. Because of my eclectic methods in assessing, conceptualizing and treating some of the most challenging cases with positive outcomes, it is difficult for me to arrive at the most ideal client however, I have worked most effectively with both adolescents, adults and older adults. Recently I have renewd my interest and expertise in working with single women wth small children.
